Founder

R500’s CEO and founder, Dr Olaf Hermans is  a Dutch born resident of Belgium. He is a scientist-entrepreneur who spent almost a decade in Pennsylvania where he conducted his doctoral research in human development and services management. More specifically in loyalty cognition and meta-cognition and goodwill behaviors. Goodwill was found to be much more relevant for exceptional behavior by employees and customers than trust and empathy despite the latter taking up the majority of business attention today.

Olaf is fascinated by people and conversation processes that make the fantastic happen: in the moment for and with all around. His mission is to develop scalable technologies and methods that bring out the very best of all people, in any situation or environment. Making each occasion more memorable and valuable.
